Comas Neel Beason

  Comas Neel Beason, 81, of Florien, died in a Shreveport hospital, Sept. 19, as a result
of an auto accident.

  Surviing relatives include his wife, Mrs. Comas Beason of Florien, three sons, Steve of
Florien, Huey of Port Arthur, Tex., and Prentis of Alexandria; a step-son, Edward Packwood
of Brisband, Australia; a daughter, Mrs Lloyd Ragsdale of Texarkana, Tex.; a step-daughter,
Mrs. Johnny Campbell of Deweyville; a brother, Pete Beason of Cleveland, Tex.; 31
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

  Services were held in Shady Grove Baptist Church, Sept. 20, with the Rev. Johnny Rhodes
officiating. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.
