Becken, 69, of Shreveport, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 2, in St. Theresa's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Charles Burnhardt, pastor, officiating. Burial with military graveside rites was in Forest Park Cemetery, under the direction of the Marshall Street Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Mr. Becken was dead on arrival at Willis-Knighton Hospital, after suffering a heart attack at his residence, Friday, according to Caddo Parish Deputy Coroner, Dr. Norman L. Mauroner. A native of Zwolle, he had lived in Shreveport 35 years. He was retired fron the U. S. Air Force. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Amy Ann Becken of Shreveport; two sons, Edward W. Becken, and James A. Becken, both of Shreveport; four sisters, Alaida Murhammer, Irene Hendrickson, and Vurla Burk, all of Salem, Ore., and Flossie Bontragger of El Cajon, Calif.; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be james Lanfranc, O. J. Ward, I. A. Bentley, Fred Underwood, Paul Brooks, and Charles Guilbeau.
