The Sabine Index - Tom Bison

  21 Oct 1949 - Tom Bison, 72, was killed instantly Wednesday
afternoon of last week when the car he was driving slipped off
the road bed and rolled down an embankment near Noble.
Investigating officers said the victim was attempting to pass an
oil truck when the car left the road.

  Funeral services were held at Shady Grove Baptist Grove church
with burial in Shady Grove cemetery.

  Surviving are his widow and four sons, Willie, Jimmie,
Sam and Robert, all of Noble; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Batson,
Mrs. Grady Anderson, both of Noble, and Miss Bernice Bison of
Shreveport.
