Beason, 64, of Robeline, died Tuesday morning, April 8, at his residence, after a short illness. Services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, in First Assembly of God Church in Many, with the Revs. Huey White, Bob Grizzle, and James Flannigan officiating. Burial followed in Fort Jesup Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marie Beason of Robeline; four daughters, Dorothy Philips, and Delida Keel, both of Many, Lois Poston of Hornbeck, and Martha Solice of Robeline; two sons, Jerry Beason, and Johnny Beason, both of Many; two brothers, Joe Beason of New Orleans, and J. C. Beason of Many; three sisters, Ella Colston of Greenwood, Louise Remedies of New Orleans, and Edna Neal of Hornbeck; and 15 grandchildren.
