Glen Kimbrough of Jehovah's Witnesses officiated. Interment followed in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park. Family members acted as pallbearers. Mrs. Beason died on September 13, in Carlsbad. She was born on December 25, 1920, in Mitchell County, Texas. In 1942, she moved to Carlsbad. She married Prentice Beason on February 23, 1979, in Carlsbad, and they moved to Many. The Beasons returned to Carlsbad in 1988. She was a homemaker, and a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her hobbies were sewing, and crocheting. Mrs. Beason is survived by her husband, Prentice Beason of Carlsbad; two sons, Kenneth Eggleston of Morganville, Kentucky, and James Eggleston of Carlsbad; two step sons, Eddie Herpin, and Richard Beason of Carlsbad; four daughters, Ruby Derington, and Anita Sherrod of Carlsbad; Juanita Kennard of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Verna Burton of Florida; three step daughters, Glenda Hammond of Carlsbad, and Debra Livingston, and Janet Dockens of Many; four brothers, J. J. Moore of Wolfforth, Texas, Charlie Moore, Fred J. Moore Jr. and Oscar G. Moore of Ft. Worth, Texas; six sisters, Selma James of Brownwood, Texas, Della May Cain of Westbrook, Texas, Golda Bell Mainer of Sun City, California, Hazel Arnold of Troup, Texas, and Virginia Ward, and Dimple Sue Teague of Snyder, Texas; 25 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
