Ettie Elizabeth Beason

  Funeral services for Ettie Elizabeth Beason, 91, were held at 2
p.m., at Ft. Jesup Baptist Church.

  Rev. Glenn Flenniken, and Rev. Hicks officiated. Interment was
in Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Beason was preceded in death by two children, Viola Rivers,
and Vera Broadway.

  Mrs. Beason was born on Dec. 26, 1903, to Sam and Delia Mitchell
in Sabine Parish.

  Mrs. Beason passed away on Jan. 8, 1995, at Heritage Manor #1.

  Survivors are her widower, J. C. Beason of Many; children, Allie
Pilgrim of Many, Truly Higgins of Pineville, Opal Bush of
Shreveport, and Georgia Clanton of Irving; sister, Gennie V.
Knippers of Hornbeck; four brothers, Wilford Mitchell, Arlie
Mitchell, Oda Mitchell, and Louis Mitchell, all of Many; nineteen
grandchildren; thirty five great grandchildren; and fourteen
great-great grandchildren.
