Beason, 27, died in Many, July 31, at 11 a.m. Cause of death was sudden. Services were held at Shady Grove Church of God, with interment at Shady Grove Cemetery, August 2, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Johnny Crocker officiated. Pallbearers were Drew Lewing, Edward Neel, Hebert Lewing, Rue Lewing, Charles Neel, and James Henderson. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Faye Beason of Florien; a son, James Andrew of Florien; two daughters, Martie Ellen, and Wendlyn Faye of Florien; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Comas Beason of Florien; two brothers, Prentice Neal, Ernest Steve, both of Florien, and Huey Miller of Port Arthur; a half brother, Edward Packwood of Australia; one sister, Mrs. Wilma Ragsdale of Texarkana; and two half sisters, Essa Campbell of Deweyville, and Mrs. Mamie Neel of Port Arthur.
