All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Charlie Bozeman Services for Charlie Bozeman, 58, of Shreveport, were held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 15, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating was the Rev. James Poole, pastor of St. Luke's Methodist Church, with burial in Forest Park West. Mr. Bozeman was pronounced dead on arrival at Beinville General Hospital in Arcadia, late Saturday night. Bienville Deputy Sheriff E. C. Poole said Mr. Bozeman was bush hogging at his farm near Castor, when he fell under the bush hog. A native of Belmont, Mr. Bozeman had lived in Shreveport for the past 21 years. He was employed in the maintenance department of Western Electric Co. He was a member of the L Club of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he played basketball from 1937 to 1941. He was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church. Mr. Bozeman is survived by his wife, Katerine Walker Bozeman of Shreveport; one son, Bobby Bozeman of Shreveport; one daughter, Miss Carolyn Ann Bozeman of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Rosemary Walker of Carthage, Tex., Mrs. Laetitia Williamson, and Mrs. Sunshine Callery, both of El Paso, Tex.; and one brother, Mac Bozeman of Belmont. Pallbearers were James Sullivan, Billy Wiggins, Billy Cates, Edward Tesnow, Tom Martin, and Thomas Guin.
