All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mr. William Franklin Bozeman (Photo) Funeral services for Mr. William Franklin Bozeman were held Tuesday, Jan. 11, 1994, at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel in Shreveport. Mr. Bozeman passed away on Sunday, Jan. 9. He was a native of Belmont, and had lived in Oil City since 1928. He graduated from Shreveport High School, and Centenary College. After graduation from Centenary, he went to Oil City School, where he served as coach and principal for 40 years. He was preceded in death by two wives, Marguerite Courtney Bozeman, and Lillie Mae Avery Stone Bozeman. Survivors include two daughters, Marguerite Cherry, and Billie Vic Wilcox, both of Shreveport; four grandchildren, Jeff, Jim, and Jane Cherry of Shreveport, and Margie West of Fort Collins, Colo.; and one sister, Jessie Finch of Belmont; and several nieces and nephews.
