Mr. Stevie Herbert Baker

  Mr. Stevie Herbert Baker, 18, of Converse died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000
at Sabine Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 at St. Catherine
Catholic Church with interment following at St. Ann's Catholic
Cemetery. Father Kenneth Williams officiated.

  Mr. Baker was a mill wright.

  Survivors include his father, Harold Baker of Houston, Texas; mother,
Loretta Rivers of Converse; step-father, Brad Singletary of Converse;
fiancee, Crystal Austin of Oak Grove; two brothers, Shane Baker of
Zwolle and Dustin Rivers of Converse; step-sister, Lacey Rivers of
Noble; and maternal grandfather, Herbert Ebarb of Noble.
