Ruel Debrone Bossier

  Services for Mr. Ruel Debrone Bossier, 93, of Converse, were
held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 21, at the Union Springs
Baptist Church near Converse. The Rev. Frank Hamous officiated.
Burial was at Union Springs Cemetery, under the direction of
Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield, La.

  Mr. Bossier died Tuesday, August 19, 1986, at Schumpert Medical
Center in Shreveport, after a long illness.

  He is survived by a son-in-law, Melvin Jones of Oak Grove; seven
grandchildren, Arlene Cummins of Lake Providence, Madeline Marsh
of Transylvania, Maxine Long of Bossier City, Melba Hamous of
Dallas, Charlett Grabert of Oak Grove, and Betty Blocker of
Houston, and Melvin Jones Jr. of Oak Grove; 34 great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
