Busher, Sr. 67, of Channelview, Texas, died Friday, April 13, 2001. He was born July 21, 1933, in Zwolle. A vigil service and rosary were held at Woodforest Funeral Home, April 13. Catholic Mass was held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, with interment following at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Busher was employed at Teas Forge Co. for over 33 years, and at Mobil Mini, Inc. for six years. He enjoyed boating and fishing. He was a coach and referee for the Sheldon Little League, for about 10 years. Survivors include his wife, Jerry Blake Busher of Channelview; their children, Diana Hogan and husband Mark of Montgomery, Texas, Linda Franklin and husband Rickey of Tomball, Texas, Raymond Busher and wife Julie of Dallas, Texas, Patricia Saldana and husband Joe of Spring, Texas, Dorothy Witt and husband Roy of Magnolia, Texas, Joseph Rivers and wife Elizabeth of Zwolle, Johnny Busher Jr. of Bellville, Texas, Ronnie Matthews of Houston, Texas, Joey Matthews and wife Shelly of Deer Park, Texas, Keith Matthews of Houston, Texas, Robin Cady and husband Troy of San Antonio, Texas, and Cindy Sanders and husband George of Houston, Texas; one sister, Pauline Cordova of Orange, Texas; 40 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
