Mrs. Ethel Booker

  Mrs. Ethel Booker, 91, died May 30, 2002, in Mansfield.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., June 1, at Rose-Neath
Chapel in Mansfield, with interment following at Prude Cemetery
near Mansfield.

  Mrs. Booker was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. She
retired from the DeSoto Parish School Board, as a cafeteria cook,
at Stanley High School.

  Survivors include two sons and their wives, LeRoy and Jeanette
Booker of Mansfield, and Houston Marvin "H.M." and Vessie Rea
Booker of Marthaville; seven grandchildren, Brenda Baxter, Wayne
Booker, Ronny Booker, Terry Booker, Beverly Gooden, Richard
Barnhill, and Barbara Floyd; 19 great grandchildren; 18
great-great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were her grandsons.
