Minnie W. Boyd

  A private service for Minnie W. Boyd was held at Union Springs
Cemetery on April 20, 1996. At Mrs. Boyd's request, her cremated
remains were laid to rest on what would have been her 97th
birthday.

  Mrs. Boyd died on March 27, 1996, at DeSoto General Hospital,
after a lengthy bout with pneumonia, and the onset of
complications. She was a lifelong resident of Converse, but
resided at the Mansfield Nursing Center in Mansfield, for the
past three years.

  Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her husband, William Hamilton
Boyd; her three children, Bessie Ford Lowderback, W. H. Boyd Jr.,
and B. E. Boyd; as well as her sisters and brothers.

  She is survived by her five grandchildren, Bill Boyd and wife
Carlene, Charlsie DePingre and husband Bill, Charles Ford and
wife Linda, Delores Jo Morrison, and Evelyn Smith and husband
Melvin; numerous great grandchildren; and several great-great
grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog,
CeCe.
