George Boyt

  Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 3, for George Boyt, 60,
who died Saturday, Jan. 2, after a long illness, in Belmont. The
Rev. Evan, and the Rev. Hair conducted the services, which were
held in the Ajax Congregational Methodist Church. Interment was
in the Ajax Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Mr. Boyt is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vivian Boyt of Belmont;
three sons, James Edward of North Carolina, George Edward, and
Joseph Edwin of Belmont; six daughters, Edith Nell Boyt of
Belmont, Bessie of Shreveport, Georgia, Rosie, and Lucille Sweet,
all of California, Beatrice Terrell of Shreveport; one sister,
Mrs. Willie E. Davis of Pelican; step children, Robert Leon
Brian, Ruby Lee Brian, Eugene E. Brian of Belmont, Henry M. Brian
of Kilgore, Mrs. Ruben Brewster of Marthaville; two step
children; and ten grandchildren.
