A. L. Bates

  Arch L. Bates, 87, died in Zwolle, August 8, at 9:30 p.m.
Services were held at Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel, with
interment at Shiloh Cemetery in Provencal, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m.
The Rev. Ralph Stevens officiated.

  He is survived by a daughter, Miss Helen Bates of Pineville; a
sister, Mrs. Eliza Welch of Robeline; and a half sister, Mrs. Ora
Johnston of Puxico, Mo.
