Mr. Clifton David Batson

  Mr. Clifton David Batson, 84, died Friday, Feb. 19, in
Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 22, at
Emmanuel Gospel Church, with interment following at Bethsadia
Cemetery. The Rev. Howard Pennington, and the Rev. Brooks Coburn
officiated.

  Survivors include one daughter, June Batson Taylor of Zwolle;
three grandsons, Jerry D. Taylor of Monroe, Gerry D. Taylor of
Florien, and Jamie G. Taylor of Nacogdoches, Texas; one
granddaughter, Joanna Taylor Ammons of Zwolle; five great
grandsons, Terrance Neel Taylor of Converse, Joshua Taylor of
Florien, Chris Ammons of Zwolle, Daimian Taylor, and Wade Bass,
both of Monroe; five great granddaughters, Amanda Bass, and
Dianne Taylor, both of Monroe, Jade Taylor of Florien, Krysten
Rose Taylor of Converse, Cheyenne Ammons of Zwolle; and a host of
nieces and nephews Mr. Batson was preceded in death by his wife
of 52 years, Rosie Mae Batson.

  Pallbearers were Jerry Taylor, Gerry Taylor, Jamie Taylor, Chris
Ammons, B. C. Isgitt, and Delmer Ammons Sr.

  Warren Meadows, Many, La.
