Officiating was Rev. Chris Williams, Jr. assisted by Rev. Max McGough and Rev. L. L. St. Clergy, Jr. Graveside services at 3pm at Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport, La. Ms. Bethel, a native of Many passed away Thursday, April 29, 1993. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Many, where she taught Sunday School and was loved by many. She was an employee of Boise Cascade, Florien, where she was loved and appreciated. Frances was secretary of the Heritage Foundation of the Village of Fisher. A member of the Fisher Town Council and active in the Annual Fisher Sawmill Days. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Stroud, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Horton; a brother, Howard Stroud, Jr., and a sister, Joan St. Clergy. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Jennifer and Ben Lockwood, granddaughters, Angelet, Alexis, Anlateal and grandson Johnny Jennings, of Carthage, Texas; her parents, Howard and Trudie Stroud of Many;a sister and her husband Nancy and John Roberts of Springhill, La.; brother and his wife, William and Patricia Stroud of Corinth, Texas; six nieces and five nephews, thirteen great nieces and seven great nephews and a host of cousins, Aunts and Uncles. So loving and helpful during her final illness,A. J. and Josia Stroud, Danewood and Alberta Stroud, Nancy Carroll of Many, Jack Stroud of Zwolle; Alice Flanagan of Long Beach, Miss; Caswell Stroud of Salt Lake City, Utah, Annie and Tommie Howell, Maggie and Claude DuHamel of Stonewall, Louisiana, Lona and Oscar Ford, Billie and Jim Hammond, Bobbie and Harold Pitt of Florien, Louisiana. Pallbearers were nephews, Steven and Daniel St. Clergy, Darrell and Michael Stroud, Bo Thurman, Brad Elder, David McLaughlin, and friend of the family Clifford Steel
