Mrs. Lula Mae Butler

  Mrs. Lula Mae Butler, 68, died Tuesday, June 2, at IHS Nursing
Home in Many. She was born January 12, 1930, in Keithville.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 6, at Lone
Star Baptist Church, with interment following at Monk Cemetery.
The Rev. L. C. William officiated.

  Survivors include three sons, Mathes Butler of Many, Randle
Butler of Shreveport, and Wilbur Starks of Alexandria, Va.; two
stepsons, Ulysses Butler of Shreveport, and J. W. Butler of
Slidell; two sisters, Hazzle Mae Butler of Many, and Johnnie Mae
Green of McDade; two brothers, Isaac Starks of University Park,
Ill., and Lee E. Starks of Chicago, Ill.; stepmother, Julie Mae
Clark of Frierson; 11 grandchildren; and five great
grandchildren.
