Mrs. Dorothy Y. Butler

  Mrs. Dorothy Yearwood Butler, 69, of Bunkie, died Friday, Nov.
18. She was a native of Caspiana.

  Funeral services were held Saturday in the Hayes Memorial
Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ascall Tatum officiating. Burial
was in Pythian Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral
Home of Bunkie.

  Survivors are a son, Thomas M. Butler Jr. of Baton Rouge; two
daughters, Mrs. Charles M. Carpenter Jr. of Lafayette, and Mrs.
W. Ray Booth of New Orleans; two brothers, G. Hunter Yearwood of
Pleasant Hill, and Marvin H. Yearwood of Shreveport; three
sisters, Mrs. Lavinia Bailey of Elton, Mrs. John T. English of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Monroe E. Dodd Jr. of Shreveport; and four
grandchildren.
