M. J. Boutin

  Mender J. Boutin, 74, of Converse, died Monday, in a Converse
hospital, after a sudden illness.

  Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, in the
Union Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kit Hawthorne
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the
direction of Drewett Funeral Home.

  Survivors include one son, Clifford Boutin of Evendale, Tex.;
two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hall of Port neches, Tex., and Mrs.
Norma Ann Bossier of Converse; 12 grandchildren; one brother,
Alta Boutin of Vidor, Tex.
