Raymon Thomas Bowden

  Services for Mr. Raymon Thomas Bowden, 67, of Bossier City, were
held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, at Zion Rest Memorial Church
in Wallace Community near Pleasant Hill, La. The Rev. Ruby
Dickerson, and the Rev. Foster Jennings officiated. Burial was in
the church cemetery. Plans were under the direction of Drewett
Funeral Home in Mansfield, La.

  Mr. Bowden died at 7:45 p.m., Monday, May 28, 1984, at Pilgrim
Manor Nursing Home in Bossier City, after a lengthy illness.

  He is survived by his wife, Mary Bowden; one son, Bobby Bowden,
and one daughter, Tabitha Bowden of Bossier City; four step
daughters, Ann Conley of Bienville, La., Mrs. Jean Hughes, Mrs.
Diane Kristy, and Janet Culpepper of Bossier City; three
brothers, Cecil Bowden of Memphis, Tenn., Clarence Bowden, and
Richard Bowden of Pleasant Hill, La.; a half brother, James
Bowden of Benton, La.; one sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Woods of
Bossier City; his step mother, Mrs. Emma Bowden of Benton.
