She had been sick 23 days in Converse sanitarium, first with typhoid fever then pneumonia. All was done that loving hands and medical skill could do but God called her home. She left a husband, mother, two sisters, two brothers and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. Lillie being the eldest child took on the burdens of the family. She was ever ready to do all in her power for them or anyone else. She was a member of Bayou Scie church and was laid to rest beside her father in Bayou Scie cemetery. She was 30 years, 4 months and 6 days old. She's at rest around the throne of God.
