Mrs. Etta Bailey

  Mrs. Etta Mae Beard Bailey, 53, died Wednesday morning,
June 14, at a Coushatta hospital, after a short illness.

  She was a native of Center, Tex., and was a merchant. Mrs.
Bailey was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, in the Rose
Neath Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John B. Wilson, and the Rev.
B. F. Webb officiated. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near
Hall Summitt.

  Survivors include her husband, P. N. Bailey; two daughters,
Mrs. Jerry McCoy of Winnfield, and Mrs. R. J. Kuhlman of Zwolle;
one son, Cecil N. Bailey of Natchez, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs.
Jessie J. Jones of Ringgold, Ms. Jonnie Smith of Logansport, and
Mrs. W. R. Corley of Pineville; one brother, Allen Powell Beard
of Nederland, Tex.; and seven grandchildren.
