Herman W. Blue

  Herman W. Blue of Monroe, 65, died Tuesday, July 30, in the
Glenwood Hospital in West Monroe, following a short illness.

  Funeral services were held in the Hixson Bros. Funeral Home
chapel in Monroe, at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 1, with Rev.
Robert Peyton officiating. Graveside services and burial were in
the Zion Rest Cemetery in Mansfield, at 3:30 p.m., Thursday.

  Survivors include his three sons, John Wesley blue of Mansfield,
Harvey Lee Blue of Columbus, Ohio, and Fred A. Blue of Monroe;
two daughters, Elaine Blue of Monroe, and Mrs. Dinae Wagoner of
Shreveport; three brothers, Charlie Blue, and Ross Blue, both of
Pleasant Hill, and Ernest Blue of El Paso, Tex.; three sisters,
Mrs. Della Faries of Shreveport, Mrs. Anna Little of Monroe, and
Mrs. Pauline Boone of Stonewall; and eight grandchildren.
