Effie Lee Bell

  Mrs. Effie Lee Bell, 80, died in Fraser Hospital in Many, on
Sunday, June 5, at 11:45 a.m., following a short illness.

  Survivors include two sons, Armon Bell, and Arthur Bell, both of
Many; two daughters, Doris Sanford of Many, and Verna Rutherford
of Florien; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Masters of Florien; her
mother, Mrs. Sarah Singletary of Florien; 11 grandchildren; 16
great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, on
Monday, June 6, at 4 p.m. The Rev. Bill White, and the Rev.
Rudolph Hennigan officiated. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Dewey Self, Larry Cox, Fred Isgitt, Robert
Snider, Buddy Wilson, and Jerry Canady.
