Beal, 55, of Shreveport, were at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, January 27, at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Bishop Charles E. Cleveland, pastor of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, where Mr. Beal was a member, officiated. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. He died Monday, Jan. 24, 1983, at his residence, after a sudden illness. Mr. Beal, born in Calvin, and a resident of Shreveport for the past 30 years, was a retired oilfield worker with Scrogins Oil Co. He is survived by four sons, Jerry W. Beal, Paul W. Beal, Dee A. Beal of Shreveport, and Michael L. Beal of Haughton; three sisters, Emily Beal of Kingsville, Irene B. Smith of Many, and Maurine Brosette of Pineville; one brother, Andrew P. Beal, Sr., of Winnfield; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
