E.) Blue, 60, of Shreveport, were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 2, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Captain B. W. Cook, CHC, URNR-R, officiated. Burial was at Marthaville Cemetery at Marthaville. He died Tuesday, May 31, 1983, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Blue was born in Natchitoches Parish, La., and had been a resident of Shreveport for the past 35 years. He was employed with the U. S. Postal Service, and was a member of the American Legion, and the V. F. W. Mr. Blue was Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Berry Blue, and two sons, Rickey C. Blue, and Bruce R. Blue of Shreveport; two sisters, Rosie B. Harper of Shreveport, and Helen B. Nolley of Natchitoches, La.; four brothers, Richard Blue of Shreveport; Leslie Blue of Mansfield, La., Glenn Blue of Ferriday, La., and J. M. Blue of Robeline, La.; three grandchildren, Pattie Blue, Rickey Blue Jr., and Bruce Blue Jr.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
