Adrene Spikes, officiating. Burial was at Benson Cemetery in Benson, La. Mrs. Bailey, a native of Benson, La., and a lifelong resident of DeSoto Parish, La., died Saturday, June 3, 1989, at her residence, following a lengthy illness. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Mansfield, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Clifford Bailey. She is survived by two sons, Raymond, and Jimmy Bailey, both of Mansfield; one daughter, Tammie Oliver of Lafayette; seven grandchildren, Timothy Bailey, Kimberly Bailey, Michael Bailey, Joyce Bailey, Stacy Bailey, Pepper Bailey, Donald Oliver; one great granddaughter, Laura Lea Bailey; five sisters, Elsie Harris of Pineville, Loda Bell of Friendswood, Tex., Mildred Litton of Mitchell, Rose Moorman of Natchitoches, Danita Ford of Converse; four brothers, Kin Ford of Alvin, Texas, Fred Ford of Converse, Henry Ford of Bogalusa, James Ford of Houston, Tex.; numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggest that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
