Officiating was the Rev. David Dietzel, Dr. Calvin Phelps, and the Rev. Byrd Terry. Interment was in the Garden of Memories, Winnfield, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mrs. Bailey, 68, of Shreveport, died at 4:15 a.m., Sunday, May 28, in her residence. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Winnfield. Survivors are her husband, Howard B. Bailey Sr. of Shreveport; one son, Earl Denning III of San Antonio, Tex.; two daughters, Janet Gray of Robeline, and Linda Hollis of West Monroe; two sisters, Betty Irvine of Nashville, Tenn., and Reary Burgerot, Natchez, Miss.; one grandson, Wade Hollis of West Monroe, and one granddaughter, Nennah Gray of Robeline; and several nieces and nephews.
