All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Betty Risher Bell Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Risher Bell, were held at Centuries Memorial Park, on Friday, Feb. 9, 1996, at 2 p.m., under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. The Rev. James W. Byrd Sr., pastor of Centenary Pentecostal Church, officiated. Mrs. Bell passed away Thursday, Feb. 8. She was born in Zwolle on April 25, 1900. Mrs. Bell resided in Shreveport the majority of her life. She was a past resident of Cedar Hill Retirement, and passed away at IHS Pierremont Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elmyra Magaha Tatum; her sister, Gladys Kralich; her son, Bobby Risher; and her husband Asa L. Bell. Survivors include her nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Honorary pallbearers were her brothers-in-law, John Kralich of Baton Rouge, and W. H. "Dub" Austen of Shreveport. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Angels Building Fund in Shreveport, in memory of Mrs. Bell.
