All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Evelyn Duggan Bell Funeral services for Evelyn Duggan Bell, 70, were held Thursday, Oct. 31, 1996, at 10 a.m., at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel in Shreveport. Officiating was Rev. Larry Lyles, pastor of Christview Christian Church. Interment was at Forest Park West. Mrs. Bell passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, at Nacogdoches Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Bell was a native of Florien, a former resident of Shreveport, where she was a nurse at Barksdale for many years, and part owner of Double E. Grocery on Linwood. She had resided in Nacogdoches for the past 15 years. Evelyn and Debes had their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Oct. 20, 1996. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Leona Duggan; a sister, Elsie Duggan Risor. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Debes Bell; two sons, Michael Bell and wife Valarie, all of Nacogdoches, Tex., David Bell and wife Nancy of Seaville, N. J.; one sister, Neva Kelly of Many; one brother, Ted Duggan of Alexandria; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were the nephews, Robert Kelly, Jeff Kelly, Tyrel Risor, Jack Courville, Shane Courville, and Greg Duggan.
