Miller Bailey were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb 22, 2002, in the chapel of Hixon Brothers, Pineville. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Bailey, 84, of Pollock, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, in Integrated Health Services of Many South in Many. She was a former school teacher at Pinecrest Development Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pollock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bailey; parents, John and Tishie Miller; sister, Zora Miller; and brothers, Valrie Arthur, Pascal, and Melvin Miller. Survivors include one son, Jesse Bailey of Many; sister-in-law, Pauline Miller of Florien; nephews, Maurice Miller of Vinton, Bobby Miller of Casper, Wyo., Kenneth Miller of Shreveport, Dale Miller of Florien, Ted Miller of Orange, Texas, and Paul Miller of Florien; three nieces, Shirley Lother of Jacksonville, Fla., Carolyn Cook of Florien, and Brinda Bass of Orange, Texas; and special caregivers, Janet Miller, and Carolyn Cook. Pallbearers were Dale Miller of Florien, Wayne Curry, Johnny Green, Gene Tiley, Paul Smith, and Insley Morrison, men from Pollock Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the La.
