All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Ivy Lee Bilbray 6 Mar 1959 - Funeral services Tuesday were held at 2 p.m. at the Osborn Funeral Home for Ivy Lee Bilbray, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack Sunday at 2 p.m. He was manager of the Caddo Finance Corp. and had lived in Shreveport for the last 19 years. A native of Many, he was a member of the Highland Baptist church, a Mason, and member of El Karubah Shrine. He was a veteran of World War II in the U. S. Navy, and held memberships in the Elks Club and American Legion. Mr. Bilbray is survived by his widow, of Shreveport, two daughters, Faye and Sarah Bilbray of Shreveport; his parents Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Bilbray of Many; and two sisters, Mrs. A. L. Curtis of Shreveport, and L. Curtis of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ray Winn of New Orleans. The Rev. Gale Dunn, assistant pastor of Highland Baptist church, officiated. Burial was in Forest Park cemetery. Masonic services were held at the graveside. Pallbearers were Charlie Haygood, Fred Allen, Dr. W. C. Holman, Joe Armenio, Tony Maniscalco and Vernon Johnson.
