Dwight L. Bailes

  Dwight L. Bailes, 71, of Marthaville, died Thursday, April 5, at
1 p.m., at Marthaville.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, April 7, at 2 p.m., at the
Beulah Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Jones, and E. C.
Berly officiating. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery at
Marthaville, under the direcion of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Gertie Bailes of Marthaville; one
son, Doyle Bailes of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Loyce Palmer of
Lufkin, and Mrs. Janice Edwards of Robeline; nine grandchildren;
one brother, W. W. Bailes of Andrews, Tex., and one sister, Mrs.
Eula Dickey of Palestine.

  Pallbearers were Clyde Nelson, Preston Hayes, Jr., Audley
Ballard, Ed Moore, John Sanders, and Elmer James.
