Ellen Byles

  Mrs. Ellen Byles, 89, died at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home,
Monday, Jan. 23, at 6:15 p.m., after a long illness.

  Surviving relatives are three daughters, Marie Chamberlain, and
Willa Dee Doane of Shreveport, and Ella Johnson of Marthaville;
five sons, Grover Byles, and Jim Byles of Shreveport, W. C. Byles
of Robeline, Dr. T. B. Byles of Lake Charles, and Joe Byles of
Many; one sister, ? Stevens of Many; 16 grandchildren, and 18
great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel, Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. H. E.
Grenwelge officiating. Burial was in the Lambert Town Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Terry Byles, Glen Byles, Bobby Byles, Eddie
Edwards, Leo Byles, and Mark Chamberlain.
