Vera Larkin Byles

  Services were held for Mrs. Vera Larkin Byles, 73, of
Natchitoches, at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 4, at the Central
Baptist Church in Robeline. Rev. Larry Solice, Rev. Earl Gibson,
and Rev. Charles Byles officiated. Burial was in the church
cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home
in Natchitoches.

  Mrs. Byles, a native of Sabine Parish, died at 2:30 p.m.,
Saturday, October 2, at Natchitoches Parish Hospital in
Natchitoches, after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the
Old Bethel Baptist Church near Natchitoches.

  She is survived by her husband, Mark Byles of Natchitoches; one
sister, Buena Norris of Robeline; three sisters-in-law; twenty
one nieces and nephews; a host of friends.
