  Crawford D. Black - November 1, 1973

  Crawford D. Black, 61, of Milam, Tex., died in Many on Friday,
Oct. 26 at 3 p.m.

  Black is survived by his wife, Mrs. Avia Black of Milam; his
son, Thomas D. Black of Lumberton, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs.
Mildred Faye Jeanette of Houston, Mrs. Francis Plsoms of Midland,
Mrs. J. L. Spain of Lewisville, Mrs. M. D. Weller of Seattle,
Wash.; four brothers, Arthur Black of Pittsburg, Penn., Buford
Black and John Black, both of Trinity, Tex., Ross Black of
Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Sybil Vance of Houston, Mrs. Irma
Jean young of Houston, and Mrs. Jackie Kimbrell of Henderson,
Tex.; and five grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Chapel on
Sunday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. Burial was at the Kings Cemetery near
Milam, Tex.
