William Calvin Blake

  Funeral services were held for William Calvin Blake, age 66, at
10 a.m., on Saturday, June 27, at Warren Meadows Chapel.

  Rev. Steve Neesley officiated. Burial was held in the Forest
Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, La., under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Blake died Thursday, June 25, at his residence in Many, La.

  He is survived by his wife, Violet Blake of Many, La.; one
sister, Dorothy McConaughey of Nevada, Missouri; one brother,
Jack Blake of Baytown, Missouri; a host of nieces and nephews and
friends.

  Visitation for Mr. Blake was held in the funeral home Friday,
after 4 p.m.
