Officiating was Rev. Oliver Cagle, assisted by Rev. R. T. Spivey. Interment was at Beulah Cemetery near Marthaville. Mr. Bailes passed away Wednesday, May 29, at his residence. He was a native of Marthaville, and was a resident of Mansfield. He was a manager at Clements Oil Co. He was preceded in death by a son, Doyle Lance Bailes. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley K. Bailes of Mansfield; son, Clyde "Buzzy" Moran and wife Suzanne of Grand Cane; daughter, Debby Pounds and husband Todd of Wells, Tex.; sisters, Loyce Ann Cloudy of Nacogdoches, Tex., and Janice Edwards of Robeline; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Joe Leone, Tommy Guy, Lonnie Anderson, Jimmy Gray, Marlin Flores, Ray Bufkin, and nephews. Honorary pallbearers were James Calhoun, Donnell Bell, Ray Ramsey, Harold Shaver, Bob Fuller, and Alton James. Memorials may be made to Schumpert Hospice, or Southside Baptist Church Building Fund.
