The Sabine Index - Jettie Tatum Blackwell 
  
  2 Jul 1948 - Funeral services for Mrs. Jettie Tatum Blackwell, 
age 71 years, who died at Allen sanitarium, Converse, Friday, 
June 25, were held Sunday from Noble Baptist church with Rev. 
Jerry Schmucker, pastor Converse Baptist church, officiated, 
assisted by Rev. D. B. Watson, pastor Noble and Zwolle Methodist 
churches. 
  
  Mrs. Blackwell is survived by her husband, John Blackwell of 
Noble; a daughter, Mrs. N. A. Pugh of Triumph; three sons, Boyce 
Blackwell, Tyler, Texas, Tatum and Doyle Blackwell, both of 
Noble; six grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Tatum, Converse, 
and J. Mitch Tatum, Noble; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Copeland, 
Mansfield, Mrs. Truman Hall, Camden, Ark. 
  
  Mrs. Blackwell was a member of Noble Baptist church and a 
life-long resident of Noble and her death is mourned by many 
friends as well as relatives. 
  
  Interment was in Fellowship cemetery at Oak Grove under 
direction Massingill funeral home Many.
