Mrs. Blackwell is survived by her husband, O. E. Blackwell of Many; three sons, James A. McDowell of Casper, Wyoming, Fred Allen McDowell, and Ricky Wayne McDowell, both of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Derr, and Nancy Ruth McDowell, both of Many; her mother, Mrs. W. F. Stoker of Forest Hill; two brothers, C. A. Stoker, and D. W. Stoker, both of Alvin, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Samuels of Anchorage, Alaska, and Mrs. Retha Frederikson of Black River Falls, Wisc.; two grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Bethsadia Baptist Church on Monday, April 15, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Willis Greer, and the Rev. Howard Arnold officiating. Burial was in the Bethsadia Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
