The Sabine Index - John B. Blackwell

  30 Nov 1951 - Funeral rites for John B. Blackwell, 76, who
passed away at Sabine clinic, Zwolle, after an extended illness
Saturday, were conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Zwolle Methodist
church by Rev. A. D. Ashby of Blanchard and Rev. A. D. St. Amant
of Zwolle. Interment was in McComic cemetery under direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Horace Maxey, Robert Tarpley, Howard
Blackwell, Quinton Brandon, Coleman Hippler and Loyd Alford.

  Surviving relatives include: daughters, Mrs. Gasway
German, Many, Mrs W. F. Jeter, Sr., Zwolle, Mrs. W. B. Palmer,
Texarkana; brother, W. B. Blackwell, Florien; sisters, Mrs Mary
Cook, Florien, Mrs Fred Alford, Many and Mrs Webb Brandon,
Zwolle; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
