Hattie Webb Blackwell

  Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Webb Blackwell of Minden were
held in the chapel of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Minden on
Wednesday morning, Oct. 1. The Rev. Paul Durbin officiated.
Burial was in the Minden Cemetery.

  Mrs. Blackwell died at her residence, following a short illness,
on Monday, Sept. 29. She was 86.

  Survivors include her husband, Boyce L. Backwell of Minden; two
daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Bill Bobbitt of Lodi, Tex., and Mrs.
Dorothy Womack of Miami, Fla.; two sons, Ellis C. Parrott of Lake
Charles, and Loren (Sony) Parrott of Elm Grove; one sister; Mrs.
Mattie Allen of Shreveport; three half sisters, Mrs. Beula Odom
of Orange, Tex., and Mrs. Ruth Terrill, and Mrs. Inez Vann, both
of Houston, Tex.; five grandchildren, and eleven great
grandchildren.

  Mrs. Blackwell was a native of Noble.
