Belisle 3 Mar 1961 - Funeral services for J. M. Belisle, age 61, who died at his home on Friday, Feb. 24, were conducted at the Many Ward LDS Chapel at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Bishop Mack Hayes conducted the services, and Elder Gordon B. Hinkley, as assistant to the Quorum of the Twelve, represented the First Presidency of the LDS Church and delivered the funeral sermon. Interment was in the Many cemetery under the direction of the Warren Funeral Home. Members of he Shreveport Stake High Council served as pallbearers. Mr. Belisle is survived by his wife, Alice, daughters, Dorothy Moon, Orem, Utah, Mildred Warner, Phoenix, Arizona, and Hannah Brumfield, Kentwood; his mother, Mrs. J. G. Belisle and a brother, Anthony Belisle, of Many, and two sisters, Zita Kobas, Jacksonville, Florida and Mary Jo DeClue of Many, and 11 grandchildren.
