W. B. Blackwell

  31 Dec 1954 - Funeral services for W. B. Blackwell, age 84, who
passed away Dec. 22, were conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec 23
at Antioch Baptist Church. Rev. L. J. Skiles officiated, assisted
by Reb. B. R. Miller. Interment in Antioch cemetery under
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Dora Blackwell, sons, Clarence of
Deridder, Howard of Many; daughters, Mrs. Brink Miller, of
Florien, Mrs. Hamp Cook, Florien, Mrs. Lee Salter, Many, Mrs. Hoy
Anthony Florien, Mrs. Fred Leach of Shreveport; sisters, Mrs.
Webb Brandon of Zwolle, Mrs. Fred Alford of Many and Mrs. Mary
Cook of Florien, 30 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers: M. G. Anthony, Gordon Anthony, W. F. Jeter, Quinton
Brandon, George Cook, Wilber Lee Salter.
