Mrs. Nellie B. Blackmon

  Mrs. Nellie B. Blackmon, 65, of Many, died Sunday, Nov. 19,
at 9:40 p.m., at Shreveport, as a result of a sudden illness.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 10 a.m., at
the Oak Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Hoy Leach
officiating. Interment was in the Fenders Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors are her husband, Clarence Blackmon of Many; one
son, Charles Blackmon of Houston; three daughters, Mrs.
Mildred Jones of Shreveport, and Mrs. Betty Jo Manasco, and
Mrs. Catherine Keels, both of Houston; 11 grandchildren, 5
great-grandchildren; one brother, Sherman Barrett of Oakland,
Calif.; and one sister, Mrs. Lela Wright of Broken Bow, Okla.
