The Sabine Index - Bobby Blackman 
  
  19 Jun 1959 - A fire which completely destroyed the home of Mr. 
and Mrs. Art Manasco of Harper Road, Houston, Texas, Friday 
night, June 12, claimed the lives of their nine year old son, 
Clovis Wayne Oxley, and her 16-year-old brother, Bobby Blackman 
of Many, Rt. 1, who was on a visit with his sister and family in 
Houston. 
  
  Joint funeral services were held for Clovis and Bobby at Oak 
Hill Baptist church Sunday at 4:30 p.m. with the Rev. Lonnie 
Johnson of Many officiating, assisted by the pastor, Rev. Earl 
Warren, Jr.
