The Sabine Index - Mrs. Eliza Jane Blackmon

  23 Jan 1953 - Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Jane Blackmon,
65, who passed away Jan 17, were held at 10 a.m. Jan. 18 at Enon
Primitive Baptist church by Rev. E. L. Reed of Merryville.
Interment was under the direction of Warren funeral home.

  Surviving relatives include: husband, Burel J. Blackman of
Florien; sons, Luther of DeRidder, Gilbert and J. C. of Florien,
Morris of Shreveport, Horace of Delhi; daughters, Ms. Media
Sumler of Leesville, Mrs. Mertie Rolen of Many, Mrs. Hazel Burel
of Magnolia, Ark,. Mrs. Marie Crutchfield of Edouch, Texas;
sisters, Mrs. Dona Henderson of Florien, Mrs. Sophronia West of
DeRidder, Mrs. Florence Pepper of Jonesboro; brothers, Wright
Smith of Jonesboro, Hady of Rosepine, Henry of McGregor, Texas;
26 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
