J. C. Blackman

  Funeral services for Mr. J. C. Blackman, 77, were held at Vidor
Primitive Baptist Church in Vidor, Texas, on Tuesday, March 31,
at 2 p.m. Interment followed at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor,
Texas.

  Mr. Blackman died Sunday, March 29, at his residence in Vidor,
Texas. He was a native of Pickering, and was a retired
maintenance crew foreman for Texas-Eastern.

  Survivors include his wife, Delila Hayes Blackman of Vidor,
Texas; one son, Norman Blackman of Vidor, Texas; one daughter,
Rita Blackman Bailey of Garland, Texas; two sisters, Marie
Crutchfield of Many, and Hazel Berel of Pineville; nine
grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
